This plugin supports reading and writting files in the APF-2.0.1 format. Source files should have the ".sgm" extension, and a coresponding ".apf.xml" file. The format specifies character offsets for the files but doesn't include the SGML markup in the text file. WordFreak loads these files and removes the SGML in memory. Currently only the named-entity annotation and coreference information is displayed. When loading Chinese and Arabic ACE files it is important that you set the encoding before you load the file. The encoding for Chinese Files is Chinese Simplified and for Arabic files its UTF8. The encoding (as well as most setting) can be set with command line when launching WordFreak with the -e option. From the command line the Chinese Simplified encoding is named "EUC_CN" and the UTF8 encoding is name UTF8.
